Vineyards, wineries Mallorca

Wineries on Mallorca that you should definitely visit.

There are five different areas on the island, all with different climates that produce completely different wines: the Sierra Tramuntana (mountain range in the west), the Raiguer (long area that crosses the island), the Pla (flat central part), the Serra de Llevant (mountainous area) and the Mijorn (a plain in the south near the sea).

It is easy to explore the island's wine culture, as there are several wineries within walking distance of each other.

We have listed a number of small and large bodegas, all of which have character and offer good quality wines.

Bodegas Macià Batle ; Macià Batle is one of the island's big names in wine. The bodega was built in Santa Maria in 1996 to reflect what makes its wines unique: the fusion of modernity and tradition.

Bodegas José L. Ferrer; Bodegas José L. Ferrer was founded in 1931 and was a pioneer in the introduction of new techniques in viticulture.

Celler de Son Vives; Celler de Son Vives is located between the sea and the mountains on the edge of the pretty village of Banyalbufar. The history of the bodega dates back to 1986.

Ànima Negra; Founded in 1994, Ànima Negra is located in the south-east of Mallorca and produces on the old Son Burguera estate, whose building dates back to the 13th century.

Bodegas Angel; Bodegas Angel is located in the heart of Mallorca's wine region, in the village of Santa Maria del Cami. The winery was built in the style of the traditional stone houses that are popular on Mallorca.

Bodega Ribas; Bodega Ribas de Consell is the oldest winery on the island and has been producing wine for over 300 years. It is located in one of the listed manor houses from the 18th century.

Ca'n Vidalet; Pollensa, began planting its first vineyard in 1996 with the aim of recovering the wine and historical heritage of the island of Mallorca. At Bodegas C'an Vidalet we honour this natural heritage with sustainable practices that respect both the environment and the ancestral winemaking tradition.

Can Axartell; Pollensa, is a unique combination of traditional and modern Mallorcan viticulture. The modern winery was built in 2012, following Can Axartell's guiding principle: Respect for the grapes, the environment and the people who produce and enjoy the wines.
