Long term property rentals are normally for a period of eleven months.
Contract; whether you rent through an agent or directly from a property owner, you will need to sign a rental agreement reflecting the conditions and contract period.
Rent is paid 1 month in advance plus 1 or 2 month deposit , required as a guarantee against any possible misuse or damage, which is refundable at the end of the rental period subject to a property inspection.
Cost of electricity, gas and water is normally charged separately and paid for by the tenant. Community fees (if applicable) and IBI (annual council tax) are normally included in the monthly rental price and paid for by the owner.
Furnishings; normally, long term rental properties come furnished in Mallorca and are ready to move into and usually include bed linen and towels, kitchen appliances, utensils and croquery, lighting, ironing board, TV, and where applicable, terrace tables and chairs.
As part of our service, we arrange the rental contracts between the owner and tenants. In addition, we help our clients with many practical details during their move.
